Howard W. Rosado

Howard Walter Rosado, 61 years of age, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away May 7, 2014. He had lived in Alaska for 9 years and had formerly resided in New Richmond, Ohio. He was a graduate of Weymouth South High School. He was son of the late Joseph Felix and Ruth Elizabeth (Fraser) Rosado. He was the brother of Clyde C. Twitchell Jr. of Vermont, Carol Ann (Twitchell) Bestick of Cohasset and her husband Earle, Linda Elizabeth (Rosado) Simpson of Florida and her husband Robert, Ronald Robert Rosado of Cohasset, Joseph Felix Rosado Jr. of Georgia and his wife Tammy, and Diana Victoria (Rosado) Cost of Carver and her husband Rodney. He is survived by four children Howard Walter Rosado Jr. of Massachusetts, Steven Daniel Rosado of Florida, Michael David Rosado of Florida, and April (Rosado) Goodvin of North Dakota. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and a great-granddaughter and by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. His caregiver over the years has been Carol Harris of Anchorage. Howard was a mechanic who had worked on jet engines and large generating plants in North Dakota. He was an accomplished guitar player and had been a member of a band. Howard loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. A memorial service was held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m. Burial the Lakeside Cemetery, Braintree. Pastor Scott Killian of the South Congregational Church in South Braintree will officiate.
