You, Brant & Madeline are in mine and John's thoughts and prayers. Losing a child in my eyes is one of the worst things a person can go through. Hope to see you when you come to Rock Hill.

James Brantley Thrasher was an amazing and smart man. He and I worked together on a team project at American University last semester. Our group consisted of 3 people. Jamal, Patrick Cardichon, and James. I continued to keep in touch with him by email and text. I guided him with picking his Fall classes and supported him with his work. I praised him a lot and repeatedly told him that he was so smart and such a computer wiz. His last text to me was please let me know how Summer classes go at AU. I texted him and told him on June 13th, which he read on June 16th, that Summer classes are not that bad and that I will update you when I'm done with my class. I must say that I was so proud and lucky to have him and lucky to have Jamal welcome him to our team. We enjoyed his sense of humor and laughs. Jamal and I are so sorry for your lost. He was an amazing person. He will always be in our hearts (Jamal and I). I plan on running the Marine Corps Marathon and I will dedicating my run to him in October.
