Rock Hill, South Carolina - Miss Janie Mae "Ms. Dank" Agurs, 93, of 1088 Carolina Avenue Extension, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Hospice & Community Care. The Homegoing Celebration will be 1 pm, Tuesday at Cedar Grove AME Zion Church, 2443 E. Chappell Rd., Rock Hill. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Miss Agurs may be viewed from 5-7 pm, Monday at Robinson Funeral Home and from 12-1 pm, Tuesday at the church. The family will receive friends at 1801 Bloomsbury Drive, Rock Hill. (Taylor Oaks Community)

Janie was so very dear to me and our whole family. We will miss her dearly. Such a precious sweet soul. She meant so much to us. Loved on us and our children. She loved others well and loved the Lord. She told me she prayed for us every day and it meant the world to me. Jesus took you home and we already miss knowing we can´t talk to you now. See you one day, Janie! You´re whole, happy and healed.
