INDIAN LAND - Josephine Poidomani, 94, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, in Rock Hill, S.C.
Josephine was born in New York City, N.Y., on Feb. 5, 1918, to the late Frank and Anna Scaduto. She was a resident of Staten Island, N.Y., until four years ago when she moved to Sun City in Indian Land to be with her daughter. She and her husband were known for their bakeries in New York, such as Josephine’s Bakery in Brooklyn.
Josephine is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Poidomani; her parents; and two brothers, Joseph and Tony Scaduto.
She is survived by her children, Carl (Meg) Poidomani, Carol Ann Poidomani and Anthony Poidomani; brother, Brenardo Scaduto; sisters, Betty Bugulitta and Nancy Pennica; grandchildren, Eric, Joann, Robert, Debra and Jason; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Anna, Conner, Trinity, Izabell and Alexa.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Josephine, the family request that donations be made to Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, 2275 India Hook Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.

Carol, so sorry to read about your mothers passing. I remember you bringing her to Infinite Wellness. She was really sweet. May you find comfort during this difficult time. I miss seeing you, take care.
