Judith Briscoe Obituary

Judith Briscoe
September 20, 1960 - March 9, 2021
Rock Hill, South Carolina - Judy Anthony Briscoe, 60, made her final Journey home to our Heavenly Father on March 9th 2021. She is survived by her Husband Donnie Briscoe, two wonderful daughters Tanika Adams & Mysha Carnes, eight wonderful Grandbabies, her sister Wanda B. Anthony, her nephew LaDavideoun Neal(Navy), and her neice Kia Anthony.
Her family was her entire world. She cherished the time she had with her daughters and grandkids. She would stop at nothing, even move mountains, to ensure the happiness of her two Girls and Grandkids. Her passing, while very unexpected and equally as tragic, comes with a bittersweet emotion knowing that she is no longer hurting and resting in the eternal Kingdom. She joins her Mother and Father in the Kingdom of God, and we know that she will forever be in our presence and looking down on us.
Judy, we will love you and will cherish each and every Memory of you as we continue through our Journey of life. We will honor those memories and ensure that your legacy and spirit live on through our actions. Rest well, we will miss you dearly!
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. - Matthew 5:4

You have my deepest condolences. I met Judy when Tanika was in my 2nd grade class at Ebenezer Avenue. Judy was an awesome parent and she was always supportive. I will continue to pray for the Briscoe family.

Judy was not just a friend, she was family. I have so may fond memories of our childhood and the happy times we shared at the house on 319 Mirfield Lane in Lexington Park. I'm so grateful for the bond between the Moore and Anthony families. Family was everything to Judy. Rest my sister, you will forever live on in my heart.

Judy and I were childhood and family friends during the time she, Wanda, and her parents resided in Lexington Park, MD.

Judy had a sense of humor that yielded stories that began with "guess what happened?" I would ask "Judy, what did you do?" Once that smile of hers came across her face, you knew someone was in trouble.

I didn't have to speak with Judy frequently to be able to continue and follow a conversation from a month before. Our friendship spanned a period of over 35 years and is a friendship I will miss.
