ROCK HILL - Mr. Preston Newton Cook III, 54, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Rev. Ray Mohrmann officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ebenezer ARP Church Cemetery.
A native of Sudbury, Mass, Mr. Cook was a son of the late Preston Newton Cook Jr. and the late Dorothy Dillon Cook. He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Cook.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie Faile Cook; his son, Landon Campbell-Cook of Duncan, S.C.; his daughter, Shelby Lacey Campbell-Cook of Duncan, S.C.; his brother, Anthony Cook of Spartanburg, S.C.; two sisters, Jeanette Cook of Framington, Mass., and Jacqueline Cook of Texas.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill and other times at the home of Molly J. Faile, 3474 Lake Wylie Drive, Rock Hill.
