Charlotte, North Carolina - Roslyn will make her entrance at 1pm on Saturday, November 26 at the West End Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. The Celebration Service will begin Promptly at 2pm. A Public Viewing will be held from 12-4pm on Friday at the First Calvary Baptist Church in Rock Hill.
She leaves to cherished memories to HER "Beloved" husband and best friend, Ray Singleton, Jr., HER George, Deacon George Royal, Sr., her mother, Ms. Tracey L. Nathaniel, siblings; Jamerson M. Nathaniel, Joseph E. Nathaniel-Mims, Mother-in-love; Trudy B. Lucas, Father-in-love, Ray A. Singleton, Sr. (April), Sister-in-love, Rachelle Singleton, Grandmother-in-love; Ms. Victoria Singleton, Uncles; Wilson Reinhardt, Anthony Taylor (Linda), Trent Nathaniel, George Royal, Jr., Robin E. Royal, Johnny P. Lucas (Cherrie), Ronald Lucas (Mae), Aunties; Mary O'Brien (Teddy), Deloris Tillman, Jeanette Dawkins, Vivian Holland (Rev. Albert), Thelma Lucas, Mary E. Greer, and Rev. Rossilind Daniels (Deacon Ladine), Lauretta Lucas, Stephanie Singleton Cuthbertson (Vincent). A host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins; and special friends: Bucci Hickman, Jessica Reeder, Shakeia Kelly, Dr. KaNisha Hall, neighbors; Jen, George, Stephanie and Lolo and a special cousin Dee-Dee Tillman. I want say my prayers in advance to her loved ones from the Kirby Family. I am just an ole friend from VA, that hadn't seen Roz on social media lately and decided to go to her page yesterday, only to find out that she transitioned some time ago. This has had me unsettled so I decided to leave this note. I knew she was going thru her trial, but with a spirit like hers, I was sure she would overcome this test. I do know that life doesn't always give us what we want, but i needed to say that we lost a "good one" here. Please make sure that bright light continues to shine on those that were around her. Amen

I never personally met Roslyn but I saw her while watching Black Love. Her story was remarkable and just hearing her speak had me captivated. What a great smile! Because of what she went through, made me realize that no matter what I go through, I can keep on striving and pushing as hard as I can. Their love story was simple amazing. My condolences to her husband and her entire family. The world was better with her it. May God comfort and strengthen the family during this difficult time. Rest in Heaven Queen!

Roz and Ray were such an inspiring couple on Black Love. I fell in love with the sheer way they interacted. They portrayed 2 becoming 1 FOR REAL. I been married 30 years they taught me so much and made me view my marriage in a NEW LIGHT. I was on Tik Tok today and saw them on the Ellen show when they posted that she moved on to glory I broke out crying sad because her journey was over and heart broken that the love her and Ray shared will no longer be displayed in the physical. Like so many others I’m sure it felt as though I had a front seat to this relationship. I was a friend of Ray on social media wayyy before the two of you started dating, before the engagement and beautiful wedding, and before the most recent battles with cancer. I have cheered you on from afar and have said countless prayers to cover the two of you, and while Ros maybe gone, I’m still praying for you Ray. Praying that god continues to cover you, and for strength on the tough days that are sure to come. I admire your faith, strength, and humility throughout this entire process. God gives the toughest burdens to those he cherishes the most. Ray I know that you say that Ros was an angel sent by God to earth, but your love and attentiveness to your wife is proof that you are the angel sir. You were more than a blessing to just Ros, you were a blessing to all of us who you and Ros reached. This lost broke my heart, I wept when I found out because though I knew it was eminent I was hoping that some how she would pull through, but God had other plans. The two of you are loved beyond measure!

Ros, gave hope to so many. You and Ray shared your love and grace with the free world, leaving us all inspired and humbled. I didn’t know men like Ray still existed. I watched the joy you both exuded as I watched your life unfold while battling health challenges myself. As Sherrie Shepherd said, you two gave me (and droves of other sick women) hope. Maybe one day a man will accept me as I am, love me deeply despite my flaws, and care for/support me through health challenges unwaveringly too. You and Ray personified the very definition of your wedding vows and your love for each other glowed so brightly every time ya’ll looked at or smiled at one another. Ray adored you as you did him. You both treasured each other through thick and thin up until the very last second of God’s assignment for your life on this Earth. You somehow smiled through it all, Ros. You made living with cancer look easy although we all know that you were exhausted from debilitating pain and ongoing treatment. You fought a good fight for 12 long years and are now pain free. You Earned these wings Ros, and have now embarked on your new assignment—serving as guardian Angel to your dear, sweet Ray and the rest of the free world. Although I did not know you personally, I felt blessed by your love, your wit, contagious smile, and radiant energy. Soar high, sweet Angel. Rest in our Fathers’ loving arms.
