Rock Hill, South Carolina - Sandra Faye Green McConnell, 73, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Sandy was born in Rock Hill, SC on April 10, 1950 to the late J.C. Green Jr. and Carrie Boulware Green. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry McConnell; and son, Brent McConnell. She is survived by her brother, Clay Green of Rock Hill, SC; two sisters, Shelby Bishop of Rock Hill, SC, Lori (John) G. Fisher of Fort Mill, SC; brother-in-law, Frank (Kathy) McConnell of Rock Hill, SC; sister-in-law, Susan (Ronnie) McConnell Saverance of Rock Hill, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandy was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She had a strong faith in the Lord. She had a passion for quilting, sewing, knitting, and watching the Braves. She was a lover of animals especially taking care of cats.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Sandra McConnell's name to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC, 29731. There will be no services at this time.
