July 29, 1930 - August 9, 2021
Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mrs. Sara Mitchell Buice, 91, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Westminster Towers. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Adnah United Methodist Church with Reverend David McManus officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 in the church.
A native of Rock Hill, SC, Mrs. Buice was the daughter of the late Henry Ward Mitchell and Ethel Allen Mitchell. She was a member of Adnah United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her church family. She was an avid walker and enjoyed gardening. She was the widow of Forrest W. Buice, to whom she was married for 62 years.
Mrs. Buice is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Buice St. Clair of Fort Mill, SC; her son, Timothy F. Buice (Cheri) of Bonaire, GA; two brothers, Joe Mitchell (Jo) of McConnells, SC and Clyde Mitchell (Ann) of York, SC; her sister, Margie McCarter (Marion) of York, SC; three grandchildren, John Buice, Jordan Buice, and Joshua Buice. The family would like to thank the staff of Westminster Towers and HomeBridge for their loving care over the years.
