Sonya McDaniel Obituary
July 9, 1964 - January 21, 2025
Rock Hill, South Carolina - Sonya Shirley Varnadore McDaniel 60, passed away peacefully at the home January 21, 2025. Sonya was born in Chester, SC July 9, 1964, she attended Rock Hill High School.
Sonya was a member of Steel Patriots Riding Club and enjoyed riding with her friends. She will be missed.
Sonya was predeceased by her Father Bobby C. Varnadore, Mother Phyllis S. Varnadore, her Son Johnathon W. Varnadore all of Rock Hill, and Brother Bobby Lee Varnadore of Lake City ,SC.
She is survived by her husband James Eugene McDaniel, her Daughter Jessica M. Varnadore, and 4 Grandchildren that she adored, Aubrey Whiteside, Autumn Whiteside, Haylee McManus, and Hunter McManus all of Rock Hill, a Brother Dr. Michael W. Varnadore of Blythewood, SC, and Sister Debra V. Garris of Rock Hill.
A Celebration of Life and Receiving of Friends is planned for February 21, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at New Covenant Church 1807 Cherry Road, Ste 121, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with the Rev. Golden Ramon Officiating.
