Steve(Rat) was one of the best guys I have ever met! He did so many things for my coworkers and myself! I am very thankful I was blessed to be his friend! He was the only person who ever threw a cake in my face! I will never forget that! He love litte Deliah and I am going miss seeing her with him every week at the Wing King to get her cherry pepsi! May God bless your family.

My husband and I saw Ratt at the wing king last wed. and I talked to him for a little while. He was a great person and he was liked by everyone. He is going to be missed a lot and the wing king is not going to be the same not seeing him come through the door. We will miss him.

It was only two weeks ago that Rat and 23 of his closest friends went on our annual Greater Gentlemen's Open golf trip to Myrtle Beach. It is a trip we have been doing for many years and Rat has been there since day one. We will miss him terribly. He was one of the good guys.

To Steves (AKA Rat's) family: The Wing King will not be the same with out him there. He was one of a kind. Our staff really loved it when Rat came into the Wing King.... he was either bringing in food for them to eat or toys for them to play with.....his presence in our restaurant was just like having an old favorite blanket to have and hold. Rat always had something possitive to say or great words of wisdom to give.. Sonya and myself had just talked with him about his health and he said he was ready for what ever happened, he had lived a wonderfull life and loved his kids. He was always bring in Delilah to have lunch and tea....We deeply loved him and will miss him tremendously...We will celebrate his life with his favorite drink Absolut Mandarin and Cranberry with his own oranges....Rat you will be greatly missed...........With Love and sympathy Judy and Sonya (Owners of the Wing King)

To the family and friends of "Rat",

He will be missed. His family and freinds were lucky to have known him a son, father, and most of all a friend. I sit and think about the times we spoke of death and how he always laughed about his ashes being placed in a huge skyrocket and shot with a "blaze of glory" into the sky. Let there be no doubt that Steve (aka Rat) lived his life to the fullest and in a "blaze of glory"! .. and you can believe that he and Wheels (Larry Hinson) are laughing telling some stories at this very moment. Rest in Peace - you were one of a kind! JP
