Carl's life began on July 26, 1931, in Benton Harbor.
He was a life-long area resident and graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1949.

Carl's greatest joy was spending time with his loving family including his four children: Lura Boyer, Michael (Jeanette) Boyer, William (Kathy) Boyer and Richard (Alana) Boyer; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Boyer; many nieces and nephews; and his dogs.
Carl died on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at home with family.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Edith "Betty" Boyer; parents: Olin and Lura (Curry) Boyer; stepmother, Amelia Boyer; and five siblings: Charles Boyer, Nadine Foster, Helen Corliss, Robert Boyer and Howard Boyer.
