David Richwine Obituary

David Lee Richwine, 82, of St. Joseph peacefully passed away on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, at Hanson Hospice in Stevensville, with his wife of 60 years by his side.

A private Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.

David was born on Oct. 25, 1941, in Pittsburg, Kan., to Roll and Delores (Primrose) Richwine.

He graduated from Pittsburg State University in Kansas.

David served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1959-62.

On Aug. 24, 1963, he married Diane Yeager in Joplin, Mo.

David worked as an accountant for Whirlpool Corp. for many years. He also served as chief financial officer for Hospice at Home.

David is survived by his wife, Diane Richwine; daughters: Leslie (Thomas) Tremblay and Chondra Richwine; granddaughter, Maggie Tremblay; grandson, Matthew Tremblay; and two nephews: Brian Yeager and Mike Yeager.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
