On Saturday, Nov. 21, 1992, a beautiful bundle of joy was born to Renardo and the late Glenda (Miles) Rouse, and together they named her Glenda Tacara Rouse. She was born at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.
Glenda passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, in Kalamazoo, Mich., surrounded by family.
A service of homegoing will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1105 E. Main St., Benton Harbor, with the Rev. Carlton Lynch officiating. Friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Private burial will take place at a later date in Crystal Springs Cemetery.

Glenda graduated from Penn Fosters High School in Grand Rapids, Mich. She later on earned her certified nursing assistant certification. Glenda did not stop at her CNA certification, she decided to go back to school, and most recently graduated from ALR Health Services as a certified phlebotomist.
Glenda was employed in the maintenance department at Whirlpool Corp. When she received her CNA licenses she worked for Orchard Grove, Home Sweet Home, and Royalton Manor.
Glenda enjoyed doing her make-up, singing karaoke, and loved to decorate her home. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her children, family and many friends.
Glenda leaves not to fond, but to cherish fond memories in the hearts of her children: Jerry Lee Bradley III, Renardo Rouse, and Bella J. Wilson; father and stepmother: Renardo (Patricia) Rouse; siblings: Tamico Miles, Dora Miles-Sims, Linda Miles, Lataurius Miles, Latasha Miles, Carveail Miles, Victoria Miles, Danial Miles, Vera (Torey Blackamore) Rouse, Kenardo (William Roseburgh) Rouse, Darenda Rouse, Raynard Rouse, Ashley Rouse, Jacob Rouse, Renardo Boughton, Cindy Rouse, and Angel Hall; step-siblings: Jessica Larkins, Latrice Larkins, and Eric Shelton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Glenda was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda (Miles) Rouse in 2013; niece, Sekani Viverette on June 15, 2022; maternal grandparents: Jacob Morris and Dora Lee Miles; paternal grandparents: Esau Rouse and Vera E. Rouse; aunts: Don Renee Rouse, Dean Rouse and Doris Tribble, and uncle, Stanley Miles.
