John "Jack" O'Neill, 88, of Sodus passed away on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024.
Jack was born on June 1, 1935, in Chicago, to Morgan and Margaret "Peggy" (Kneafsey) O'Neill.
On June 30, 1962, he married Renee Ann Bachorz.
Jack was dedicated to his future through education. He graduated from Loyola University and continued to a J.D. from John Marshall Law School.
He owned and operated Martino Paper and Envelope Company in Chicago, for 44 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, a delicious meal and attending his grandchildren's many activities.
Jack is survived by his children: Ann (Bryan) Foster, John (Lisa) O'Neill, Chris O'Neill, Renee (Ryan) Kelly and Jeanette (Mark) Postelli; grandchildren: Jack and Tom Foster, Katharine, William and Kevin O'Neill, Peggy and Daniel O'Neill, Tyler, Trevor, John and Elizabeth Kelly and Morgan, Meghan and Helen Postelli; and sister, Theresa "Mickey" Clark.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; wife and brothers: Stanley and Joseph O'Neill.
Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service.
A celebration of life will be from 4-9 p.m. on March 22, at the Inn of Harbor Shores.
