It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the passing of Kevin L. Dickson, 65, of Sister Lakes, Mich. Kevin left us in October 2025 at his home in Winter Haven, Fla.
Born on April 3, 1960, Kevin was a proud graduate of Dowagiac High School. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to a successful career in real estate and later to launching businesses in Arizona, including a shuttle/limousine service and Arizona Medical Supply. Later in life, he found tremendous joy with his beloved Tara Bond Stroman as they built their life together in Elkhart, Ind., and Winter Haven, Fla.
To know Kevin was to experience laughter – his sense of humor and infectious laugh brightened every room he entered. He cherished time spent with friends and adored his pets. His enthusiasm for cooking was matched only by his passion for politics and the great outdoors; whether golfing or relaxing on the lake, he embraced every moment. Kevin's encyclopedic knowledge of all things unusual made every conversation an adventure – if you had a question about anything obscure or fascinating, you could count on him for the answer.
Kevin's absence leaves an unfillable void; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sister Karen Dickson, and nieces Olga Dickson French and Luda Dickson French. He now joins his parents Ken Dickson and Lorene Dickson in eternal rest.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Kevin's remarkable journey among us. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Sister Lakes Lions Club at 66991 95th Ave., Dowagiac, MI 49047.
We invite you to remember Kevin for the joy he brought into our lives – his laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
