Linda (Welch) Scharnowske entered her heavenly home on Oct. 14, 2025, at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Stevensville.
Linda was born on March 14, 1953 to Irving and Florence (Kayuska) Welch, in Traverse City, Mich. She was a 1971 graduate of Onekama High School, Onekama, Mich.
Linda enjoyed many things in life, but her top priority was her family. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, family gatherings, playing cards, casino trips and most anything, where she could be barefoot, digging in God's soil.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Scharnowske and (Glenn Barker) her sisters: Pat (Jim) Matthews, Cindy (Al) Saylor, Sanie Welch; brothers: Irving "Shorty" (Cheri) Welch, Tony (Teresa) Welch; her grandchildren: Kylie and Joshua Deutscher and their father, Joshua Deutscher; and great-grandchildren: Joziah and Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws: Art and Rose Scharnowske; her sister, Donna Kuras; her niece, Stephanie Matthews nephew, Alan Jay Saylor; granddaughter, Kaitland Deutscher and Amanda's father Charlie Scharnowske.

She will be missed greatly by many.
