Marjorie Jean Workinger, 91, of Bridgman passed away on Nov. 23, 2021, at The Willows Assisted Living, St. Joseph.

Marjorie was born March 3, 1930, in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Irving and Lela (Gilson) Horton.

On Sept. 16, 1949, she married Douglas Richard Workinger and he preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 2020.

Marjorie was the co-owner of Doug's Bridgman Bakery on Lake Street along with her husband. She enjoyed being up north with her family, boating, fishing and trail riding. She also enjoyed her annual trip to Mexico with her husband, Doug, in their private plane.

Survivors include four daughters: Karen Workinger, Gail (John) Coon, Cathy (Curt) Plomb and Carol (Charles) Duvall; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Horton; and a sister, Dorothy Ott.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman.
