Mary C. "Mickey" Grish, 84, passed away Oct. 14, 2021, at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville after a courageous battle with cancer.
A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph with the Rev. Arthur Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends can visit with the family Tuesday from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mickey was born Dec. 23, 1936, in Chicago to Walter and Marie Grish.
She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School, and later earned an associate degree in business administration from Lake Michigan College.
Mickey worked for, and retired from, Fifth Third Insurance, formerly Starke's Insurance, for 46 years.
She had a loving heart for all animals, especially Rosie and Jasmine. Mickey was a generous, loving and kind friend to all who knew her.
Mickey is survived by her nephews, Fred Grish, Timothy Grish and Jimmy Grish; niece, Theresa Grish; and special friends, Dennis and Lyla Metz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Marie Grish; brothers, Walter Grish Jr. and Raymond Grish Sr.; nephews, Raymond Grish Jr., Kenneth Grish, Robert Grish and Joseph Grish.
