Willis King Obituary
Willis Willard King, 101, of Sodus was born on Jan. 10, 1921, to William and Winnie King of Bradford, Ark.
He passed away peacefully in his home on Wed. July 20, 2022 with his wife, Stella, and loving family.
Willis was a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Army.
After returning home, he met and married Stella Piker in 1950. They shared 72 loving years together, and had four children.
Wills was employed by St. Joseph Public Schools as a custodian until he retired after many years of service.
He was happiest spending time outside enjoying many things like fishing, gardening and working in his shop and always with a smile on his face.
He is preceded in death by many, including his daughter Patricia Ann King.
He is survived by three daughters: Bonnie Souers, Linda (Bob) Cantrell and Lois (Frank) Turner, all of this area; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Willis loved his family and lived a full and happy life. He was always a loving husband, father and grandfather.
The family has requested there be no services. He has been cremated and his ashes will be laid to rest with Stella at a later date.
Flowers, and expressions of sympathy can be sent to 2671 Naomi Road, Sodus.
