Durham
Alonzo Elmer Parker, Jr., "Sunny" 83 died March 19, 2020 in Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, N C. He was born November 6, 1936, to the late Alonzo Parker Sr. and the late Mamie Anderson Parker.
He attended NCCU in Durham, NC, was part-owner of Chavis-Parker Funeral Home and Corbin Street Enterprise, a licensed Funeral Director and licensed Insurance Salesman, a member of NCFDA, NCFD&MA and a member of Martins Chapel Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in Chavis-Parker Funeral Home
12:00 Visitation and 1:00 PM Funeral. Interment will be in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Bldg. North Interior #63 Burlington, NC.
He was predeceased by brothers, Samuel Anderson Parker, Marvin Eric Parker, Clarence Augustas Parker, Willie Eugene Parker. and a sister, Sadie Delores Parker (Wiggie) and John James Parker.
Surviving are brothers, Louis Douglas Parker and Roy Lee Parker, sisters, Elaine Parker, Gloria Dunmore, Mamie Marie Kotomori (Richard), Ida Frances Lewis (James) and Gail Jean Parker.
Public viewing Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM in Chavis-Parker Funeral Home.
No flowers donations should be made to your local food bank to help feed the people during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
