Durham, North Carolina - Arloa Marie Bischoff Bittikofer died peacefully at Croasdaile Village Retirement Community on Monday, July 25, 2022.
She was born on August 29, 1918 in Monroe County, Michigan.
She graduated from Lambertville Michigan High School and attended Capital University Columbus, Ohio.
She married Pastor Weldon F. Bittikofer on August 29, 1940.
She taught parochial grade school and was a medical office receptionist.
She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years and is survived by 3 children: John A. Bittikofer (Dianne) and grandson Aaron, Joy A. Williams (John), Jenny A. Stewart (John).
A lifelong member of the Lutheran Church-presently St. Paul's ELCA Durham, NC; she was active in her church and community.
She loved quilting, gardening and playing the piano.
Service and interment of ashes to be determined at a later date.
