Durham, North Carolina - Charlie Booker Dunnegan, 86, of Durham, died on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Hock Family Pavilion. He was the son of the late William Ewart Dunnegan and Ester Parker Dunnegan.
Charlie loved to spend his time farming, fishing, and working on lawnmowers. He also enjoyed to do mechanical work. He loved his wife, Irma Dunnegan and his family dearly.
Surviving are his wife, Irma Robinson Dunnegan of the home; children Randy Dunnegan and Jerry Dunnegan (Elizabeth); four grandchildren, Brandon Dunnegan (Danae), Christy Stainback (Troy), Randall Johnson, Lena Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Lilly and Tristan Dunnegan.
The memorial service will be held 2PM Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Brooks & White Funeral Home with the Rev. John Pritchard officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior 1 PM-2PM.
