Arthur Norton Obituary
July 7, 1925 - March 31, 2008
Arthur F. Norton Jr., 82, Venice, formerly of Franklin, Mass., died March 31, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. April 15 at the Bay House in Bay Indies, Venice. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M.; children Ann (Louis) Ullucci of N. Scituate, R.I., Barbara (Stephen Pimental) Norton of Portsmouth, R.I., Nancy Wasnewsky of Franklin, Mass., Arthur F. Norton III of Millis, Mass. and Keren (Glendon) MacIsaac of Prince Edward Island, Canada; grandchildren Louis, Mark, Jacob, Andrew, Rachel, Kara and Benjamin; and great-granddaughter, Audrina.
Mr. Norton was born in Hyde Park, Mass. to Arthur F. and Blanche A. (Hatch) Norton. He moved to Venice 19 years ago from Franklin, Mass. Mr. Norton retired from Boston Edison Company in 1986.
He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 8118 and the Moose Lodge, both of Venice, and a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Norton was a member of Federated Church in Franklin and Evangelical Covenant Church of Bay Indies in Venice.
