Barbara died peacefully at home at the age of 79. Barbara is survived by her husband Charles Mertz, loving mother of Vicki Knapp of Sarasota, FL, Jeffery Mertz (Nancy) of Middlesex, NJ, Timothy Mertz (Laura) of Bridgewater, NJ. Sister of James Klarich (Marilyn) of Hubbard Lake, MI, Sister in-law of Mary Klarich of South Lyon, MI. Grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 4. The family is thankful for all the condolences received. A memorial is planned for a later date.
