Beverly Epler, age 83 of Sarasota, passed away March 3, 2017. She was born November 27, 1933 in Traverse City, MI to Arthur and Velma Ducheney. Beverly would best be described as a petite woman, with a large heart. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends. Beverly was an amazing baker and cook and always catered to each grandchild by making their favorite food when they came to visit. She was a member of Church of St. Patrick and was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church, both in Sarasota. One of Beverly's biggest accomplishments was holding the title as a champion golfer at the Meadows Country Club- 9 hole ladies in Sarasota, FL, and at Brookwood and Great Oaks Country Clubs in Rochester, MI. Beverly is survived by her husband of nearly 64 years, Loren Epler; her children, Loren and Tina; grandchildren, Brooke, Loren, Kristen, Ashley, and Jamie; her great grandson, Shay; and many extended family members and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Jude Catholic Church; 3930 17th St in Sarasota.
