Denis was truly one of a kind. He was so strong and yet gentle at the same time. We will remember his music, his hugs, and his smiles.
Our prayers are with you, Eve. Love, Vickie and kids (Robert, Ryan, Connor, and Megan)

Denis will sorely be missed. I knew him as a sailor. He was very active around the pram shed, both helping his ladies with the Bitter Ends sailing group as well as an active board member of Venice Youth Boating Assn. He was always quick to help and educate others with his knowledge and love of sailing. My thoughts are with Eve and her family.

From his relentless pursuit of excellence in all things sailing, to his joy and zest for life, and undaunted optimism, Denis always commanded my utmost respect and admiration. He was the kind of person you wanted looking out for you, and he did that so well for the Bitter Ends. Always the gentleman, with a sharp sense of humor - he was certainly a prince. He will live on in my memory as the consummate sailor. I will miss him. My heart goes out to Eve and family.
