Eva Stender Obituary
Oct. 24, 1913 - Dec. 16, 2009
Eva Peterson Stender, age 96, of Sarasota, died Dec. 16, 2009.
She was born of American parents in Cadogan, Alberta, Canada, and moved to the United States in 1925.
She culminated her business career as administrator of Central Towers, a retirement center in St. Paul, Minn.
In 1991 she retired to Sarasota.
Eva is survived by her husband, Charles Stender; a daughter, McClaren, and husband, Richard Davies, of Venice; grandsons Douglas and Daniel Wilder; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Wilder.
A memorial service will be late January with burial in St. Paul. Toale Brothers Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Memorial donations in Eva's name may be made as follows: TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238; Ascension Lutheran Church, Sarasota; or Central Presbyterian Church, St. Paul.

Jack and I send our deepest sympathy to Eva's family. She was a lovely P.E.O. and we enjoyed talking about past years in St. Paul, MN. We will miss her lovely smile.
