Jim Hunnicutt was a kind, fun, warm, and wonderful neighbor.
Even as a twelve year old I remember him standing out to me as the kind of person I'd like to be. He was so approachable and always seemed interested in everyone. I remember when he decided he wanted to get rid of all the onion grass on his rather large lawn in Pelham.
He made a game of it and hired the neighborhood kids to pull bunches for a penny each. Not everyone was as motivated as Michael and I were. I think he was a little surprised when we pulled 2100 bunches. But he was true to his word, and it was the most money we'd ever earned.
Sanny, Michael and VIv, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Dad will be missed by all who knew him.

To PAM,Michael,Vivian and Sandra
I Am so sorry for your loss.
Jim was the kind of guy that when he entered a party upon seeing you would say there you are----instead of here I am.
A true gentleman.
He will be sorely missed.

To Pam, Sandra, Michael and Vivien we send sincere condolences. Jim was an amazing man who led an exemplary life. He was a gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor. We always admired him and especially as we watched him face the end so bravely. Remembrances of his great good humor will be with us always.

So sorry for your loss Pam, Sandra, Michael & Vivien. Your husband and father was such a wonderful man. We, myself & Lulu, loved seeing Jim and Cashew on their nightly walks exchanging tidbits about our lives, and after Cashew passed. I will always remember our nice conversations with Jim, Pam and family. Barbara from NJ
