James Nicholas Schmager, 69, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, formerly of Sarasota, died on Apr. 26, 2013. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sat., May 4, 2013 at Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Hixson, TN. Funeral arrangements by: Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Jim was of the Catholic faith, he was known by others as Jim, Jimbo and Granddaddy. People often compared him to George Carlin. He could always make you laugh or at least smile. He would always help others when needed.
Jim loved his camper on the lake, his pontoon boat, his dogs, but most of all his pride and joy his Dikate Motorcycle. He was a die hard Cleveland Brown fan.
Jim served his country in the Air Force and was a key salesman in Toledo, Ohio. And one of the best bartenders in Sarasota, Florida and security guard at Ruby Falls in Chattanooga.
Until we are in each others arms again my darling, I will miss you with all my heart and love you forever.
