Joseph Albert Mojica, 83, of Marietta, formerly of Sarasota, FL, passed away on September 16, 2012. A public memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, September 28, 2012, at Brookstone Country Club, 5705 Brookstone Drive, Acworth, GA 30101. Survived by his wife Jane Mojica. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be designated for cancer research at Mayo Clinic. Memorials can be made online at www.mayoclinic.org/development or mailed to Department of Development, Mayo Clinic, 200 First St. SW, Rochester, MN 55905. West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, is in charge of the arrangements. Online guest book at westcobbfuneralhome.com.
