Lauretta Giloth Obituary
Feb. 9, 1918 - Nov. 30, 2011
Lauretta Barbara Giloth, 93, of Emeritus at Sarasota in Sarasota, Fla. passed away peacefully at the Tidwell Hospice House on Wednesday, Nov. 30 with her family present.
She is survived by her three loving children, Mary Terese Hancur of Rhode Island, Michael Giloth of Bermuda, and Madelyn Balitz of Sarasota, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life is scheduled to be held today at the National Cremation and Burial Society, 2990 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, Fla. Gathering will take place at 4 p.m., with the Memorial Service to follow at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, 5595 Rand Blvd, Sarasota, 34238.

Dear Madelyn, Mary Terese and family,
My sincere condolences to you all for the loss of your dear Mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.
It was a great Honor to care for your Mom, she taught me so much about love for life and having faith. During one of our conversations I asked her what the key was to living a positive life even when faced with life limiting challenges, (in a nutshell) she said: "If you take care of your mind, you can take care of the world" ... then she taught me about her precious rosary beads. Lauretta was a wonderful spirit and she loved and spoke of each of you every single time I met with her. She was so proud of you all. I will miss her deeply, she touched my soul. Peace be with you all. "Tami the shower girl."
