To this day I am at a loss for words over his death. In the few months I knew him we had become quite close and spoke almost everyday. Our chats after "class" at dinner became the high of my week during a terrible time in my life. Our friendship was short, but is ALWAYS in my heart. I'm so grateful for the time we shared and still saddened I couldn't help him like he helped me. I think of him often and will never forget his friendship.

Lou was a volunteer Friendly Visitor through my agency -- this was perfect for him, as he brought joy and laughter to all around him. A wonderful "people person" who loved speaking about his daughter and his adoration of her. His incredible warmth, his smile and his quick humor will be greatly missed. May his memory be a blessing.

To my first and best friend I had upon moving to Harrison in 1964... Louis was a good listener to people, he cared about what values you stood for as a friend and was always there for you in time of need or play. I spent many a day after school with him and his family at their home, on all occasions. I realized the family closeness as well as the competitiveness among the siblings. I enjoyed our relationship and found him to be an incredible inspiration growing up as he was much more serious then I during those years. May Louis be remembered by all as a strong character with dignity, and allow strength to those who survive his existence.
I remain a fan of his memory.

i I am deeply saddened by the death of Louis. He was a good man who loved his family his daughter, his sister and brother as you mourn his death take comfort in the fact that Lewis is at peace, no longer suffering, and no longer alone. Remember the good times and as you think of Louis may the fun stories, and fond memories replace the sadness- that's what he would want

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Louis children and family. Haven't seen him since we graduated in 1969 but during our high school years we were friends.

I graduated in 1969 with Louis at Harrison High School, only to meet up with him 40 yrs. later while I was showing model homes where he lived and then again we attended classes at USF Academy in Sarasota. It's a small world. His obituary describes the person I got to befriend again -- delightful to talk to, always with a smile, loved his family. He was proud to show me a picture of his beautiful daughter. I only wish I could have helped him more in some way. He will be missed by many. My prayers are with the family. I've notified several other Harrison friends who are also deeply saddened. Rest In Peace. Gwen Bisceglia Keegan, Florida. 941-776-5458
