Manuela M. Colon, 87, of Sarasota, formerly of New York City, N.Y. died March 17, 2012.
Memorial Mass will be on 9:30 a.m. today at Incarnation Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Palms Memorial Park. Packer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her brother, Michael of Lake City; several nieces and nephews.

Titi, there will never be anyone like you...you live life to fullest and but you were always a nervous what people said about you...but always remember that you were kind, and you were smart , and you were your true self, and you believed!!! I'm glad that you will always be a part of my life and when you get to your new home...let my dad and gilbert and the rest of the family we miss them and that we will c them later.... LOVE YOU!!!

Life is but a stopping place,

but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.

For some the journey's slow.
