Mary Allyson Hobbie, Tampa, formerly of Sarasota, died Jan. 8, 2009.
She was born in Murray, Ky., and was a graduate of Sarasota Riverview High School and Murray State University. Allyson was a certified financial planner and a vice president of Investacorp of Miami.
She is survived by her parents, Mike and Suzanne Hobbie; a son, Beau Hobbie; a brother, Mathew Hobbie; and a sister, Valerie Hobbie, of Sarasota.
In lieu of flowers gifts may be sent to "In Trust for Beau Hobbie" Attention Asela Mantecon, Investacorp, PO Box 9320 Miami Lakes, FL 33014.
Viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m. today with a chapel service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, South Tampa Chapel, 3328 S. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa.

I don't know if you remember me or not. My name is George Bell, I played summer baseball( pony league) and worked for coach Reagan when you were at MSU. I later became a Trooper with Kentucky State police. I met Allyson and we became friends and later lost touch. I am sorry to hear about Allyson and my prayers are with your family. Allyson was sweet and fun to be around she will be missed.

Aly will be very missed. She was a wonderful person & mother. She was a surviver, so intelligent, strong & really wanted to enjoy life to fullest. Aly was loved by many & we are sad to say goodbye to our sweet friend. Rest in peace Aly. We love you forever.
