Matthew J. ''Matt" Burns Jr., 87, Bradenton since 1972, formerly of Fredonia, N.Y., died Nov. 19, 2007.
No services are planned.
Survivors include brothers John J. and Charles E., both of Buffalo, N.Y., and Donald W. of Bradenton.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War and a member of the American Legion.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 4955 State Road 64, East Bradenton, FL 34208.
Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26th Street Chapel, in charge.
