Nancy L. Van Camp, age 77, passed away March 1st, 2017 in Venice, FL. Nancy was born on July 4th, 1939 to Gertrude (Springer) and Allen Austin in Jackson, MI.
Nancy worked for the school board of Sarasota county as a Principal's secretary for 22 years. In 1999 Nancy was awarded Employee of the Year and achieved the Secretary of the Year award as well.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years David Van Camp; son, Mike (wife, Pam) Van Camp; daughter, Julie (Shane) Wyant; 6 grandchildren: Corey, Keatyn, Bradley, Austin, Connor, and Dakoda.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25th at 6 PM at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel.
Memorial Donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238. Nancy enjoyed travel, reading but most of all, being a Grandmother.
