Nora E. Yoder, 83 of Sarasota, FL passed away peacefully on Aug. 7, 2018. She was born in Etna Green, IN and was raised in Dundee, Ohio. She met her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert Yoder, and moved to Sugar Creek Ohio. In 1988 they moved to Sarasota, FL. Nora loved attending Church, her family, and the Lord.
Nora was survived by her loving husband, Robert Yoder; sons, Wayne (Robin), Dennis, Maynard (Cherie), and Myron Yoder; daughters, Debra Yoder, and Mary Jane Habegger; sister, Edith Good; sisters-in-law, Clara and Amanda Hershberger; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Eli and Amanda Hersberger; son-in-law Ivan Habegger; daughter-in-law, Heather Yoder; sisters, Verna (Elmer Yoder), Katie (Christ) Beachy and Emma Hershberger; brothers John (Sarah), Roman and Albert Hershberger; brother-in-law Noah Good.
Visitation will be held at Palm Grove Mennonite Church from 5-8pm on Friday, August 10th.
Service will be held at the church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11th with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
