Rodney Witham Obituary
Apr. 30, 1955 - Jul. 19, 2015
Rodney Wayne Witham was a one-of-a-kind spirit who brought joy to everyone he met. He loved growing up in Sarasota, surfing, playing football and baseball. He graduated from the University of Florida and worked in site development most of his life. He was an active volunteer at Suncoast Community Church.
He is survived by his mother, Marguerite (Marty) Witham; His son Bradley (Laura), their children Allie, Gage, and Dierks, of Olathe, Kansas; His wife, Amy, and stepdaughter Elizabeth Hannah; His brother Tom (Tina); His sister Patty (Tommy) Burt; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 26 at 4:00 pm at Oleary's Tiki Bar (5 Bayfront Drive, Sarasota). The family asks that you buy your own refreshments.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.

So sorry to hear of Rod's passing. We go all the way back to Little League when his dad, Ralph, was our coach. I remember his first no-hitter!
