Snyder Dorothy Obituary
1921 - 2014
Dorothy Snyder, 92, of Venice, FL and Flint, MI passed away in Pensacola, Florida on September 17, 2014. She was born in Escanaba, Michigan to parents Harmon and Alvina Knapp. She attended Central High School in Flint, MI.
Dorothy later became an administrative assistant for Westwood Heights School System of Flint, MI for 13 years and also served 10 years at Venice Hospital. She was a member of South Venice Christian Church in Venice, FL.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Snyder.
She is survived by her sons, James (Marilyn) Snyder of Milton, FL and Ted (Dee) Snyder of Terrell, NC; granddaughter, Heather Anderson; 2 grandsons, Matthew and Kyle Snyder; and 2 great-grandsons, Drew and Zach Anderson.
A special thank you to Covenant Hospice for their special care and professionalism.
A memorial service will be held at South Venice Christian Church at a future date.
