I just learned of Sophia's passing 1-3-17. What a true Lady! It was an honor and privilege to have known Sophia. She surely loved her Jim, James and David with all her heart. May God Bless Sophia and all her loved ones. I will always remember her telling me I love you Cookie.

My mother in law Marjorie Macri was a neighbor of Sophia in Venice. They were great friends who would go to church together, play cards and go out to eat. She would watch over my mother in laws house when Margorie would come back to Ohio for the summer. Her son Jim and Rita would have my mother in law for holidays. It was very generous for them to include her in the family celebrations and buy her a gift.

My husband Mark and I enjoyed talking with Sophia when we would open the house for my mother in law. I remember she would have flowers from her yard in a vase on the counter when we would arrive. She admired how put together Sophia was. Her hair, dress, jewelry and make up were always so sophisticated and classy.

We are glad we have good memories of Sophia and that she lived a long healthy life.

God bless her and her grandsons of which she was so proud. She will be with Jim who left this earth too soon. Rest in peace.

Love, Terri and Mark Macri
