Vivian J. Eckert, 87, of Bradenton, FL, died on Feb. 8, 2013. Funeral arrangements by: Veterans Funeral Care, Clearwater.
Vivian passed away at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton. She was born in Mishawaka, IN., in 1925 to Swedish parents. She lived in the Midwest with her husband, Owen Lee Eckert, and worked as a church choir director and bookkeeper. They retired to Florida in 1983. She is survived by her two daughters, Marcia and Adele; her son, Bruce, four grandchildren and her two sisters, Violet and Irene. A memorial service will take place at 11 AM, Tuesday, March 26th, at Northminster Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the music program at the church, 3131 61st St, Sarasota, FL 34243, or to SAI c/o Susan Byerly, 3884 Woodmere Park Blvd, #16, Venice, FL 34293.
