Walter Collins Obituary
June 8, 1914 - Jan. 22, 2010
Walter F. Collins, 95, of Sarasota, formerly of Henderson, Nev., and Villa Park, Ill., died Jan. 22, 2010.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 68 years, Elaine (Bagneschi); a son, Thomas F. of Prescott, Ariz.; a daughter, Patricia S. (Collins) Lucas of Henderson; three grandchildren, Kristin, Heather and Ryan; and two great- grandchildren.
Mr. Collins was a World War II veteran, having served in the Army Air Forces before returning to make his home in Villa Park, where he lived until his retirement to Sarasota. Prior to his retirement he was very active in the Villa Park V.F.W.
