David Ruth Sample

Sample, David and Ruth; married 66 years and longtime residents of Dearborn passed away on May 8, 2015 and March 9, 2015 at the ages of 92 and 90 respectively. They were preceded in death by David’s siblings, William Sample, Mary Ann Ritter and Walter Sample and Ruth’s brother, David Stewart. They are survived by their children, Douglas (Sue), Wendy, Kirk (Bonnie), Todd (Heather), Ross (Suzanne) and Brice, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. David will be missed by his only surviving brother, Richard (Raeleen). David was active in the community and a longtime member of the Dearborn Rotary. Ruth was active in the Dearborn School system, serving on the school board for 13 years. Both will be missed by numerous family members and friends.
