Jim Cook

Jim Bakken lit up my every visit to the Fairlane Club - his passing is a loss to all who were touched by him. He took a personal interest in what others were doing, always ready with a helping hand. As one of the five officers of Ford Motor Company, he brought Quality as Job #1 among his many contributions. Character, competence, and compassion were his trademark that now outlasts him as does his legacy and example. I will miss you, Jim.

Mr. Bakken's Loved ones: I met Mr. Bakken only once at Ford-AAD General Office. I will cherish few minutes I spent with him as very humane and understanding manager. I convey my heartfelt condolences to Mr. Bakken's clan.

Dear Mary Ellen and all of your dear family, I am saddened to know of your deep loss. My sincerest sympathies to all of you in this time of sorrow. I wonder if your Dad knew my father in Wisconsin. If he attended at Stevens Point, they overlapped for a couple of years on campus. Hugs to you all. Jo Dakin, Jon, Alex & Ben

Jim and family, my deepest sympathies to you for your loss. So lucky to have him and your mom around for so long. My late father was a huge fan of your dad when he worked at Ford. Prayers from my family to yours for added strength in the tough days ahead.
