Jessica Lauren Gamboe

1990 - 2019

Gamboe, Jessica Lauren (September 23, 1990 - January 12, 2019) was born in Heidelburg, Germany. She battled depression and addiction for many years, but never gave up trying to overcome them. She lost her fight due to complications from these afflictions. A graduate of Carleton High School, Jessica was a talented artist and a voracious reader. She was always curious about the world around her. This soft-spoken young woman enjoyed painting and writing, but her greatest loves were her children Sam and Briar Rose. Jessica is also survived by her mother, Allison Wilson (William) and father James Gamboe (Mandy); her sister Kaitlyn Gamboe, brother Ben Gamboe and sister Jillian Wilson; grandmother Jean Gamboe and grandfather Jerry Anteau; nephew, Jack Phillips; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Maryann Anteau and grandfather, James H. Gamboe. Service Thursday, 3 p.m. at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, (next to Michigan Memorial Park) 30895 Huron River Dr., Huron Twp., (734) 783-2646. Visitation Thursday, 12 to 3 p.m. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for funeral expenses.
