Mark was a wonderful, wonderful man. It was absolutely a pleasure to know him. It was impossible to be in a bad mood whenever you would talk to him. If you were, he would find a way to lift you up. Mark was always going out of his way to make people happy. He graced us with Mark on a Shelf and Woody from Toy Story. He had such a great sense of humor-- any time I hear a corny joke, it makes me think of him. He was so kind, extremely thoughtful, and loved his mother very much. He was truly one of the best people I have ever worked with.
Mark made such a huge impact on all of us at work in the few years he was with us. He really had a special relationship with just about everyone he worked with. He was basically the light of our store. I can't imagine how much more difficult this loss is for his family and friends to bear. It is devastating to me. It is important that you know how special he was to all of us, as I know he was to you.
It is very painful to know that we have to go on in a world without him, but I believe we are all better for having known him. Even for a little while. He, more than anyone, I think, would not want us to be sad.
I loved Mark very much, and I will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Mark was truly one-of-a-kind.

The world is a lot emptier now. Mark was an amazing human being. He always made us smile, he was always telling jokes, and always just trying to make sure everyone else was happy. He was my birthday buddy! March 23rd. I will think of him every year. My heart hurts for my friend, and his family. I wish I could say something to take away the pain, but I cannot. Time is the only thing that heals this type of pain.
We are all in this sorrow together. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences are going to his family and friends.

Mark was one of my first friends when I started to work at Macys. He took his time to train me, to give me the confidence of being able to work any department on my own. When he became a manager, he was my go to man, same for so many other associates. He worked his butt off and it showed. He had the best sense of humor and was truly an absolute joy to be around. I miss his little jokes written on the break sheets. I miss messing with him as he pushed his cart around. Even if we had a ten second interaction, we both walked away smiling and laughing. Mark shed such a light on all of us at Macys. He is so so loved. Rest In Peace ❤

I don't even know where to begin with this...
Mark, you were a very kind, caring, loving, funny, intelligent soul. You had this light about you. You wouldn't allow others to be upset or down. In fact, you would share corny jokes, or turn on some of the goofiest songs and just dance to make people laugh. You definitely had a big impact on my life. You have always had a place in my heart. You will be greatly missed by many.
To The Viger family, The Burke Family, and his friends;
My deepest condolences go out to all of you. I know how much his family all meant to him. He was one of the most family-oriented people I've ever met. He will forever live on through the memories and stories you share together. Don't ever forget his corny jokes for they will make you laugh for years to come.
*hugs to all of you*
