Darrell E. Reinhardt, 90, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Aspire Senior Living, New Florence, MO.
Darrell was born in Gore, MO on July 28, 1935, the son of the late Paul Alfred & Idene (Cullom)Reinhardt.
He was united in marriage to Betty L. (Rohlfing) Reinhardt on September 25, 1954, in East St. Louis, IL. Together they shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. Betty preceded him in death on September 5, 2022.
Darrell was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Hermann, a 69-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers, and the Hermann Masonic Lodge. He was a former member of the Warren County Planning & Zoning Commission. He was an electrician and worked for Hampton Electric, Mack Electric, and Aschinger Electric all in St. Louis.
He is survived by a son, Michael Reinhardt & wife Charlotte, of St. Charles; a daughter, Lisa Redfern & husband Bob, of Hermann; by a brother-in-law, Gary Rohlfing & wife Kathy, of Big Spring; two grandchildren, Aaron Reinhardt, of Columbia, MO and Aimee Fancher & husband Carl, of St. Peters, and three great grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey and Hayden Fancher. Darrell was very close to Mopsy and Sugar, his pets.
He is preceded in death by his parent, his wife, and two sisters, Dolores Pennybacker and Ledell Bitzer.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where Masonic & funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at Loutre Island Cemetery, McKittrick. Memorial donations may be given to Loutre Island Cemetery or St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
