Adam Williams Obituary

Adam T. Williams HICKORY Adam Todd Williams, 32, of Hickory, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011. Born January 21, 1979, in Washington County, Tenn., to Bridget Smith Patrick, he was a member of Church of The Master and was employed by Yellow Cab Company. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Bridget Smith Patrick and Virgil Patrick; his children, Landen Williams and Layla Williams, both of Hickory; ex-wife and mother of his children, Angela Storie; brother, Jerry Williams of Hickory; sister, Stephanie Patrick of St. Charles, Mo.; grandmother, Beulah Smith of Hickory; aunts, Linda Chevront, Donna Smith and Norma Smith, all of Hickory; uncles, Richard Smith and Douglas Smith, both of Hickory; nieces, Taryn Williams of Virginia Beach, Va., and Jasmine Patrick of Hickory; nephew, Dylan Warren of Hickory; cousins, Billy Barrett, Lisa Chevront, Tonya Barrett, Jimmy Smith, Heather Summers and Dougie Smith, all of Hickory. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Church of The Master with Rev. Bud Zimmer and Pastor Cliff Moon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service, from 2 until 3 p.m. Online condolences may be left at www.catawbamemorialpark.com. Adam was like my own son, our children basically grew up together I will all ways miss him and can still hear his voice from the last time he called me,he was a wonderful person never without a smile or cracking some joke. Rest in Peace Adam I love you and will all ways miss you! Your Other Mother.

Although his time was not long he was a really nice man.I meet him on two occasions and both were a blessing when he picked me up he gave me a few words of wisdom.He was very friendly and I'm sure he will be dearly missed he is gone on to his Heavenly Father and will be with you always praying for you and your family at this time
