Allen was like a member of the Wooten family back in the days when he and my uncle, Donald Wooten worked together at Abernathy Chevrolet. Allen always loved my Grandma's ice tea and home cooking, and was a regular at their house and Granddaddy's garage. He and Donald remained friends throughout the years, and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast together at the Snack Bar before my uncle passed away a few years ago. Thank you Allen for being a part of our family throughout the years. Our prayers are with you Connie, and your family.

Connie, I'm so sorry I was unable to get in to see Allen. You know he was a dear friend to me and my family for over 35 years. I will always cherish the long talks we had at the shop. Allen was down to earth and straight forward. When I was able to get in and catch him, his greatest joy was talking about his children and grandchildren and updating me on them. I believe he considered them to be his greatest accomplishment in his life. He was there for me many times when I needed a true friend. Sherry and I have you in our prayers. Smitty
